About Sam
Sam Walker (She/Her) is a dedicated Practicum Student at Let’sTalk! Counseling, on her journey to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a Minor in French, from the University of Texas at Arlington. Currently enrolled in the MA in Professional Counseling program at Amberton University, Sam is set to graduate in May 2024.
Sam’s passion lies in supporting various populations, including children, adolescents, teens, and parents, particularly in the prenatal and postpartum stages. With a deep commitment to LGBTQI+ affirming therapy and a multicultural background, she brings a unique social collectivist perspective to her counseling approach.
In her free time, Sam is an avid reader who enjoys being outdoors, traveling, exploring the world of film and art, and cherishing quality moments with her husband and two daughters. Sam’s warm and empathetic nature, combined with her academic achievements and commitment to growth, make her a valuable asset to the Let’sTalk! Counseling team.
